I Like

"Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature."

That Tom Robbins, he is just so fine.

Courtney is reading Hemmingway for her new job assignment in Spain. I still need to pickup 'Hitchhiker's...' while I try to finish the Africa book.

So do you recommend any particular book by Tom Robbins?

Actually, I like the concept that new employees have a reading assignment to do before you go to a different country.

My favourite by Tom Robbins is 'Still Life With Woodpecker'. Crazy, crazy book.

Yeah, believe it or not, I haven't read Gabriel García Márquez yet. I think some pre-Colombia reading is a must!

They are all good. Jitterbug perfume is a story that weaves together the lives of people from three different centuries.

Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas is great too. It is the only book I have ever read in 2nd person.

Still life is great too. They are all good.

I second that on Jitterbug Perfume. It's the first thing he ever stole my heart with.
